We are very pleased to announce that our Civils team have been awarded the Key Delivery Partner (KDP) 8 framework contract at Sellafield, Cumbria.

This framework will see projects being delivered through an industry leading collaboration between the client, programme partners, delivery partners and suppliers working together as an integrated team.

Our role will include design development and delivery of the Concrete Structures, Groundworks and Blockwork package, estimated to be worth around £1Bn over the next 15+ .

As a result of this major framework win, we are now seeking a Project Manager. A key leadership role in a highly collaborative environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the timely execution and completion of both the pre-construction and construction phases of Call Off Contracts let under the Framework . The initial contract you are expected to be involved with is a site establishment and bulk excavation enabling works project.

The Project Manager Role

You will be report to a Project Director and:

• Have full ownership, responsibility and accountability commencing at the pre-construction phase through to successful project delivery.
• Be responsible for overseeing the timely execution and completion of both the pre-construction and construction phases of the project.
• Have ownership, responsibility, and accountability for the project, highlighting project risks, identify opportunities and mentor the continuous improvement initiatives in order to improve efficiencies.
• You will be recognised as a technical expert in your field and will have significant management responsibility for a diverse workforce comprising significant numbers of staff through a number of construction related disciplines, Operational, Engineering and Technical, commercial, business support.

Your Profile

You will have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or similar construction qualification plus SMSTS Health and Safety qualification.
• Proven track record of the management and successful delivery of complex reinforced concrete structures.
• Experience of Project 13 Enterprise model or similar collaborative working.
• Proven technical, civil engineering background, with a broad portfolio of experience including Reinforced Concrete, Earthworks, Infrastructure, Highways, Water and Rail.
• Ability to demonstrate the successful delivery and completion of a mixed portfolio of civil projects.
• Current working knowledge and commercial understanding of NEC4 Option E form of contract
