After Sales Service and Technical Manager

This is a brand-new opening and career opportunity for an “After Sales Service” and “TechnicalManager” to join a growing and highly successful market leading organisation.

The role:

• Responsible for overseeing and optimising post & Presales processes and the entire after-sales service
• Gate keeper for new products ensuring their fit for purpose in the UK and EU.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through the customer support team
• Supervising and developing strategies to improve the processes within the after-sales support team
• Monitor and analyse customer feedback trends to identify any problems.
• Manage stocks and inventories of spare parts and ensure availability.
• Negotiate contracts with Nationwide 3rd party service agents and spare parts suppliers to ensure a good level of customer service.
• Evaluating new product samples to ensure all UK/EU standards and certification present and the product is fit for purpose.
• Manage returned stock and ensure its economic value is optimised either through repair and sale or disposal.
• Monitor and report on (KPIs)related to after sales service, proposing corrective actions when necessary.

Experience and Background for the

After Sales Service and Technical Manager

• Experience in after-sales management within the consumer goods industry.
• Strong leadership, team management and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and implement improvements.
• Problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with relevant technologies – in particular, domestic appliances

The role is based in Brentwood, Essex and it is expected that from time-to-time travel will be necessary to the distribution centre in Haverhill, Suffolk
