Working in association with a privately-owned investment property company owning a unique portfolio of freehold office, residential, hotel, retail and leisure properties across London, our client is seeking a HR Manager to join their expanding team.

The role will play a pivotal part in both the property management, and maintenance companies (consisting of circa 60 employees) with their HR and recruitment needs with the ultimate goal of assisting those companies meet their long-term objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly performing team in the heart of London’s Canary Wharf, and is based full-time in their prestigious offices.

Job Overview

• Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries.
• Administer all HR-related documentation such as job offers, contracts of employment, staff handbooks etc.
• Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation.
• Manage all disciplinary and dismissal procedures.
• Manage recruitment process including advertising, filtering CV’s and assisting with the interview process where necessary.
• Undertake employee health and safety assessments.
• Overseeing the staff induction process.
• Overseeing staff reviews with line managers.
• Assisting with staff training needs and development
• Working with managers to clarify job specifications and roles for their teams.
• Improving the workplace environment.
• Review of workplace policies and procedures
• Oversee employee resources and benefits.
• Manage and monitor all staff holiday, sickness and absences.
• Overseeing the staff private healthcare policy.
• Assisting with preparation of staff rotas, payroll and overtime calculations.

Experience & Personal Attributes Required

• 3 years’ plus experience in a similar position within an SME business
