Partner Manager/Supplier Relationship Manager

About the role
As a Partner Manager, you will be supporting the profitable growth of our client’s business by working with our client’s suppliers on a day-to-day basis, ensuring contracts are being met, SLAs are being delivered and supporting with any internal queries and issues. You will also be doing ongoing audits to check compliance and legislation is being adhered to and will be reporting this data.

Shifts: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)

The must-haves:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Partner Manager, Supplier Manager or Vendor Manager.
• Extensive experience in Telecommunications.
• Experience of creating reports and carrying out audits.
• Computer proficiency in Office 365 packages, including Excel.
• Technical contracting experience
• The ability to liaise with all areas of business and external suppliers/partners.

Key responsibilities

• Ownership of supplier portfolio: Being responsible for overseeing and managing the relationships with all the external suppliers that provide goods or services to our client.
• Audits: Conducting regular reviews and assessments of the suppliers’ processes, systems, and controls, ensuring that they are adhering to set out governance.
• Compliance & Legislation: Ensuring that the suppliers follow the relevant laws, regulations, policies, and ethical codes that apply to their industry and operations.
• Data & Reports: Gathering, analysing, and summarising the data and information related to the suppliers’ performance, quality, compliance, and risk.
• Policy & Guidelines: Establishing and communicating the best practices and procedures for managing the supplier portfolio and the third-party risk.
• Supplier Risk: Acting as the primary point of contact and escalation for any supplier-related issues or incidents.

• This is a 6-month contract with visibility to extend to a long-term project for 2-3 years.
• A day rate, in-scope IR35, £448.00 per day (via a Hays approved umbrella company)
• This role provides remote working access from the comforts of your own home and only goes to our state-of-the-art office in Reading, 2-3 days a week.
