Junior CAD Draughtsperson / Graduate Design Engineer – Macclesfield –

Junior CAD Draughtsperson / Graduate Design Engineer required to join a well established engineering company specialising in mixing and dispensing equipment for a variety of industries.

All successful applicants must have experience of Solidworks and 3D CAD and must be local to the Macclesfield area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced person or aspiring graduate engineer to gain experience producing engineering models and GA drawings for a wide variety of process industries including oil & gas processing, water/wastewater treatment, food production and pharmaceuticals, amongst others. This role also provides progression opportunities into project engineering and contract engineering where you will become involved in costing, approvals and other aspects of the project lifecycle.

The Package:

Salary- Up to 30,000 (DOE)

Working Hours – 9am-5pm (Monday-Friday) but flexibility is offered after probation

20 days holiday + bank holidays increasing with length of service

Pension 5%

The Role:

• Producing accurate 3D models of equipment
• Producing 2D Engineering GA drawings for manufacture to a high standard
• Producing 3D models for CFD analysis or customers plant modelling requirements
• Revising current project drawings to customers specific requirements
• Liaising with the Sales team and Contracts Manager to solve any issues which may arise post-order
• Issuing GA drawings to clients for their approval for manufacture
• Producing scale models for in-house 3D printing

Requirements:

• Must have a degree in a relevant discipline e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or similar.
• Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Solidworks and 3D CAD packages.
