The role

As the School Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the efficient and effective operation of the school. You will be responsible for overseeing various administrative and financial functions to ensure the smooth running of the school, allowing teaching staff to focus on delivering exceptional education to students .

The ideal candidate

• Proven experience in school administration, finance, or a related field.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and financial reporting.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Knowledge of educational policies and procedures is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Managing the school budget, overseeing financial transactions, and preparing financial reports.
• Human Resources: Managing staff recruitment, contracts, payroll, and personnel records.
• Facilities Management: Overseeing the maintenance of school buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Administrative Support: Providing administrative support to senior leadership, including organizing meetings, maintaining records, and handling correspondence.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, policies, and procedures.
