Project Construction Manager

We are currently undertaking the exciting project of building a 1700 m house from the ground up. We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our team.

Key responsibilities:

– oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction project, from initiation to execution and completion.

– plan, direct and manage the project, ensuring it stays on budget and schedule.

– handle the preparation and review of project bids and the negotiation and management of subcontractor contracts.

– ensure the successful execution of construction projects

– execute the control and compliance with safety regulations, ensuring projects meet contractual and legal requirements.

– work closely with stakeholders, including the client, architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors, in order to define project objectives, establish timelines, allocate resources and manage budgets.

Requirements and skills

– Education in Civil Engineering, Construction management or Mechanical Engineering

– Minimum 5 years of proven experience as construction project manager for high end residential projects, especially on the projects of the same size (min 2000sq.m).

– Experience as a General Contractor

– Experience in overseeing the project from start to finish (including cooperation with structural engineer, arquitecture, mechanical engineering, finishing, etc)

– In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles

– Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards

– Good knowledge of MS Project

– Outstanding communication and negotiation skills

– Excellent organizational and time-management skills

– A team player with leadership abilities
