Account Manager – Insurance – Sutton 50,000 – 70,000

We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager for our market leading medical consultancy client who specialise in elite level indemnity protection, based in Sutton on a full time, permanent basis. The company are growing and now is a great time to join the team!

Main purpose of the job

To ensure the smooth running of the business. To assist with all aspects, including providing client advice and marketing as the business representative. Effective communication of Scheme details and procedures with professional individuals, the Lloyds Broker and Underwriters.

Main Duties:

• Timely, accurate, and effective administration to ensure smooth running of the scheme in support of high profile, professional clients.
• Assist with marketing of the business including exhibitions organisation and support.
• Dealing with initial enquiries regarding the company and Indemnity Insurance and advising clients of the relevant action to take.
• Dealing with proposal forms, ensuring that they are completed correctly and have been signed before forwarding to the Brokers / Underwriters.
• Ensuring that communication is kept between the client and business, so that they are aware of what is happening i.e. if there are any issues with their quotation.
• Issuing quotation and supporting documents to the client and dealing with queries that arise.
• Further dealing with putting the client on risk if they go ahead. This involves ensuring that the correct form is completed and issuing membership documents in due course.
• At renewal, sending out the correct form in enough time and following up with chaser emails when necessary to ensure the renewal is processed in time of the date, and subsequently following the above protocols.
• Input and maintenance of accurate information on all Databases and spreadsheets.
• Organising stands at conferences, dealing with the organisers to place logos, advertisements etc. in the manual and booklet along with organising for leaflets to be placed in delegate bags, ensuring contracts are signed, payments are made, and relevant material is distributed in time.
• Arranging meetings, accommodation and travel arrangements when needed.

• Interpersonal skills, sufficient to represent the company externally and communicating the companies benefits to potential professional, and high-profile clients.
• Understanding and compliance to FCA regulations.
• Complete understanding of schemes rules, policy wording and benefits.
• Application of rules and benefits to daily processing tasks.
• Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII/CII) qualification.
