Do you have a strong background within a heavy manufacturing industry? Are you an experienced Asset Manager or Maintenance Manager? My client is a well-established manufacturing business that supply into the construction industry, in addition to designing and manufacturing their own machinery. They are looking for an Asset Manager join their well-established maintenance team; the ideal candidate will have a strong machinery background with a good understanding of LOLER, PUWER and EN regulations. • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance strategies to ensure upkeep of company assets.
• Ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations align with industry standards.
• Frequent inspections and audits of assets to identify maintenance issues.
• Creating an asset maintenance plan using internal and external resources e.g., maintenance schedules
• Ensuring cost effective maintenance practices through monitoring asset spends
• Reviewing asset performance
• Managing contracts with suppliers
• Managing critical spares

Asset ManagerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Previous experience with asset management in a machinery environment
• Strong understanding of LOLER, PUWER and EN regulations
• Engineering qualification (HND, NVQ, BEng etc.)
• Driving license and valid passport – willing to travel internationally 1-2 times per year
