Business Development Manager – Waste Management

Ideally based Doncaster / Yorkshire covering Nationally

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 basic with regular performance and salary reviews excellent earning potential with competitive uncapped commission.

The Company is poised for significant expansion and now are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to help grow the business and drive the business plan forward.

Role & Responsibilities

As Business Development Manager your focus will be securing new waste contracts within the construction industry, with a total waste management approach. The role is varied and would entail sourcing and developing a portfolio of new and existing clients. This can be a hybrid role, combining time in the office with working from home along with face-to-face meetings which will form part of your responsibility.

Experience / Knowledge Required

• Experience of selling waste and recycling service solutions ideally within construction but not essential.
• Proven ability to open doors and win large value accounts; experience/active network in the waste industry.
• Confident with strong negotiation skills and the ability to close a deal.
• Current / previous roles may include Corporate or National Business Development Manager, National Sales Manager, Regional Business Development / Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, Key Account Manager.
• Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Driving licence essential.
• The suitable candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have a passion and flair for selling a service and enjoy working as part of a team.

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday 9am-5pm with an early finish on a Friday
