In the role of Business Development Manager Automotive Engineering Service

• Generate business leads and acquire contracts aligned with our strategic goals
• Develop and execute revenue-generating strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
• Create and implement capture plans for opportunities, ensuring successful closure
• Promote our client s automotive engineering services to maximize sales potential
• Identify profit generation and cost control opportunities within our client s customer base
• Strengthen relationships with existing clients to enhance business opportunities
• Maintain and update CRM systems to track sales opportunities and forecast
• Research and analyze market intelligence to support our client s growth strategy
• Ensure high customer satisfaction by addressing client objectives and concerns
• Monitor competitor activities to maintain market leadership and value for customers
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tender responses
• Represent our client at industry trade shows and client events
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations

The requirements for the Business Development Manager Automotive Engineering Services:

• At least 5 years of experience within a commercial/sales/business development environment in the automotive/motorsport engineering services sector
• Qualified in relevant engineering discipline to at least NVQ 4 level or equivalent
• Demonstrable experience of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
• A proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close with a strong business sense and industry expertise
• A good network of contacts within the automotive/Special Vehicle Operations/Motorsport Industry
• The ability to communicate and present credibly and influence and negotiate
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be willing to travel nationally and internationally when required
