Business Development Manager Builder’s Merchant

This role can be based in branch or remotely.

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client s customer base. You will identify new business opportunities, strengthen relationships with current clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development within the building supplies or merchant sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Covering South Birmingham into Worcester
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key existing clients
• Work with the sales team to create and implement business development plans to meet revenue targets.
• Develop a deep understanding of our building materials
• Collaborate with internal teams:
• Network in order to build relationships
• Lead negotiations on pricing, terms and contracts

Key Requirements:

• Experience in the building supplies industry is essential.
• Proven track record in business development and sales.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of building materials
• A valid driver s license and the ability to travel as required.

Salary: Up to £50,000 + annual bonus
