Our award-winning, global technology manufacturing client is looking to appoint a Category Manager.

Our client has a fantastic culture and reputation and offers great benefits and support to their employees and are looking to appoint an experienced procurement professional who is passionate about category management.

The Category Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering effective category management purchasing strategies, managing and developing supplier relationships through review meetings, analyse and mitigate risk associated with the category and deliver cost savings and commercials.

The Category Manager will also work closely with Engineering and NPI to understand new innovations and technologies which are relevant to the category and the design and process improvement of new products.

You will be an experienced procurement professional who has delivered end-to-end tenders (strategies, contracts, tendering). You will have strong supplier management experience teamed with negotiation and commercial acumen. Ideally, you will have worked in manufacturing, but all industries will be considered.
