An exciting opportunity for a Commodity Manager to join a leading Industrial Manufacturing organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the Procurement & Supply Chain team, ensuring effective and strategic operations.

Description

• LeadD NPI sourcing strategies for battery technologies and implement commodity strategies to achieve cost reduction targets.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms.
• Work cross functionally with teams internally to bring to life new ideas
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain.
• Oversee the inventories and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Stay updated on market trends and advancements in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

• A degree in Engineering with experince in NPD projects
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• A comprehensive understanding of the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in supply chain software.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

Job Offer

• A competitive salary in the region of £60,000 – £65,000 per annum.
