I am currently recruiting for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join my client based in Cwmbran to join their team as a contracts assistant on a temp to perm basis. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to someone who is looking to develop their career and make a real difference, supporting the public sector through shared services.

The Role:

• Drafting, reviewing and organising a variety of documentation relating to public sector, commercial and bespoke contracts
• Assisting with general administration
• Working closely with contracts manager, account managers, procurement team, finance team, suppliers and customers
• Supporting the Legal Director on day-to-day matters, including data protection
• Managing approvals, coordinating contract and document sign-off, and collaborating with various departments to meet strict deadlines
• Maintaining the company’s files and the contracts departments files, logs, trackers and databases
• Drafting correspondence
• Conducting research

Required skills:

• Proactive, enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Committed team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills, able to manage a heavy workload and conflicting priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to demands
• Ability to work independantly and manage projects efficiently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and high level of numeracy
• Experience in administration and customer service
• Law graduate desired
• Public sector experience desired
