I am looking for a Contracts Manager to join a housing association based in Cambridgeshire. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for a small team of external contractors, with no in house responsibilities or line management required. This role benefits from home working with the occasional in office meeting.

Contracts Manager responsibilities:

• The preparation of contract documentation and specifications, including monitoring contractual obligations and assessing any potential consequential claims
• Management and control of Repairs and Maintenance and Void programmes and budgets – including on-site monitoring
• To assist in the preparation of budgets, monitoring costs and the preparation of reports and statistical information, estimates and tender prices
• To be responsible for the inspection and of work in progress and post inspection of work undertaken by contractors ensuring quality, satisfaction and compliance is maintained

What is required for the role:

• HNC or equivalent
• Experience working in a similar position
• Contract management experience
• Experience managing a team of contractors
• Social Housing experience
