Job Title: Contracts Manager

Location: Finsbury Park, London (covering Hammersmith and Fulham)

Salary: £52,000 – £58,000 (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Introduction:

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee our reactive maintenance contracts within the occupied social housing sector in Hammersmith and Fulham. As the Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of approximately 25,000 repairs per annum, maintaining our commitment to high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of reactive maintenance contracts as the Contracts Manager, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards.
• Oversee the operational performance of the team, including Supervisors and Administrators, to ensure efficient management of repair requests and service delivery.
• Strategically plan and allocate resources to meet the demands of the repairs, acting as the Contracts Manager to drive continuous improvements in service delivery.
• Manage relationships with various stakeholders, including tenants, external contractors, and internal teams, to foster collaboration and resolve any issues promptly.
• Monitor and report on contracts performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans as required.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the reactive maintenance contracts under your management.
• Provide expert guidance and support to your team, enhancing their performance and professional development as they support the Contracts Manager role.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in a similar field, managing reactive maintenance contracts is essential.
• Strong understanding of the social housing sector and the unique challenges associated with occupied properties.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of repairs and maintain quality standards under pressure.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all levels.

Package:

• Salary range of £52,000 – £58,000, commensurate with experience.
