Contracts Manager – Fire Stopping (Building Maintenance)

Location: Devon

Salary: Circa 50,000 per annum + 5,000 car allowance

As a Contracts Manager specialising in fire stopping, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a significant contract with a reputable housing association. You will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the fire stopping project, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the fire stopping contract for a reputable housing association
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the housing association and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, taking proactive measures to address any issues and ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress and key performance indicators.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the building maintenance sector, with a focus on fire stopping contracts.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards related to fire stopping.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Exceptional project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling
