Contracts Manager – Preconstruction

Title: Preconstruction Manager.

Salary: Up to £80K depending on experience.

Location: North London, Office Based.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead preconstruction activities, including cost estimating, budget development, and value engineering.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure project designs align with client expectations and requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to mitigate potential challenges.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and procurement strategies.
• Manage tendering processes and contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the project team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Preconstruction Manager on D&B Fit Out projects.Strong understanding of construction methodologies, cost estimating, and value engineering.Excellent project management skills, including budget and schedule control.Proficiency in construction software and tools.Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team to success.
