Do you have experience delivering M&E projects with a strong knowledge of installations? Have you got experience of running projects £7m+?

An opportunity has arisen for a M&E Project Manager with electrical bias to join a market leading principle contracting company in the building services industry. This is to primarily work a large refurbishment in Manchester.

Responsibilities:
– Ensure that resources are available for work e.g. materials, labour and plant etc.
– Ensure contracts are completed within timescales and budget
– Ensure works are carried out safely and that reasonable and practical measures are taken to maintain the safety of all involved
– Liaison with site management team and all key stake holders involved with the project
– Subcontract and material procurement and management
– Financial management of contracts, variations etc.
– Manage competence and individual performance within the team
– Maintain company standards in terms of quality

Requirements:
– Minimum 5 years’ project management experience in an MEP contracting environment
– Ability to prioritise workload to ensure the management process is optimised
– Knowledge of electrical systems is ESSENTIAL
– UK PROJECT EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL
– Strong communications skills both internal and external stakeholders
– Experience of working with sub-contractors and managing in-house labour
– SSSTS or SMSTS
– First Aid
