General Manager (Terminal Operations) – Permanent – UK Hybrid – Excellent package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leader in the marine industry. They provide clients with services ranging from terminal operations to subsea cable repair. They have a position available for an experienced General Manager to head up a well-established Terminal division within the group on a full-time and permanent basis.

The role is home-based in the UK with regular travel for site visits.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing successful, long-term contracts to safely operate marine and other petrochemical terminals within the UK.
2. Fostering collaborative working with clients and in-house management teams to maintain and continuously improve good working relationships and practices.
3. Management of company team managers remotely.
4. Ensuring that training and team and individual performance and succession planning are delivered effectively throughout the organisation and to the highest of standards.
5. Ownership of P&L across multiple sites, including delegation and governance of budgets to colleagues. Derive, develop, and deliver reporting on business performance.
6. Proactively seeking out potential new business within and adjacent to the petrochemical sector to grow the business.
7. Candidates must be able to travel across the UK to visit sites.

You must have the right to work in the UK and hold a full UK driver’s license.
