I am recruiting for a local authority who is looking for someone provide support to the Housing Needs, Support and Safety portfolio, working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to deliver the council’s objectives and priorities.

Job Role

Process and administer work that supports managers to oversee commissioning and procurement contracts.

Process and administer work that supports the physical and mental health needs of rough sleepers, to work alongside managers and the team to help ensure the availability of appropriate accommodation, including emergency accommodation is enabled for rough sleepers and those who are homeless to access housing and solutions in a timely way.

Process and administer work directed by managers and our oversight of commissioners and providers to find solutions to delivery of a single point of contact and to support a wider take-up of PRS offer to clients.

Take ownership and responsibility through the support of managers by promoting a customer-focused and safety-first culture and making real our values in our relationships with customers and to ensure all services adopt a person-centred approach across all delivery.

Process and undertake clerical duties with the support of managers to develop comprehensive person-centred engagement with clients, effective and developed feedback systems at both client and partner level. Our experts by experience should reflect the local population and their needs.

Process and administer all data requirements and work with the Data and Performance Manager and team to ensure data on performance across all commissioned services are in place and to highlight when remedial and corrective action that may be required due to significant variances.

Own and process work to ensure that all activities within the service comply with council effective management systems and operate within the service area to manage performance and risk.
