Are you at the beginning of your HR career or looking for your first step into HR?

If so this is great opportunity to join a unique organisation who oversee well known attractions in Northern Ireland. Initially for a 12 month fixed term contract however there may be the possibility of extension. Supporting the wider HR team this is great opportunity to gain or further your experience in HR, with wide ranging generalist responsibilities.

About the Role

• To provide administrative support for the HROD team.
• To create and update records on the HR Management System.
• To create and issue contracts of employment and contact amendment documentation.
• To prepare the monthly payroll amendments.
• To provide information and advice to managers and staff on staff policies and terms and conditions of employment.
• To monitor sickness absence and liaise with line managers on follow up actions in accordance with the Attendance Management Procedure.
• To monitor the Probation review process and follow up with managers as necessary.
• To support the recruitment and selection process and participate in selection panels for Recruitment processes.
• To provide support on Grievance, Disciplinary and Dignity at Work Policies and Procedures, attending and recording meetings as required.

About You

Essential

• A minimum of 5 GCSE’s including English and Maths and one year’s experience in a similar role OR 2 year’s experience in a similar role.
• Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• A capable and confident communicator.
• Experience of managing and prioritising your own workload ensuring deadlines are met.

Desirable

• Previous experience of working as a member of a HR team
• Membership of CIPD.
• Experience of using HR Management Systems.

This role would be best suited to someone available for an immediate start or on short notice.
