Fixed Term Contract – 12 months

We are seeking a Fixed Term (12-month) HR Co-ordinator to support the HR Onboarding team, responsible for providing frontline service to all Thames Water employees and managers.

What you’ll be doing as an HR Coordinator

• Supporting HR administration across the People Team
• Acting as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, forwarding specialist requests to appropriate HR colleagues
• Maintaining data using company-specific systems, ensuring records are accurate and current
• Generating and issuing formal documentation, such as employment contracts
• Undertaking ad hoc project work as required
• Communicating professionally and courteously with a broad range of people
• Liaising with Line managers, the IT Service Desk, and the wider business
• Updating employee records, including pension contributions
• Providing ad-hoc reporting and project support
• Managing workload effectively, owning queries through to resolution, and communicating appropriately
• Achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Collaborating and supporting others within the People Services team

Base location: Reading – Hybrid Working pattern: 36 Hours What you should bring to the role

• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multitask; highly organized and responsive to high query volumes
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Outlook
• Advanced Excel skills
• Resilience and flexibility to adapt to changing demands
• Trustworthiness and confidentiality
• A positive ambassador for the People Team, representing the role professionally
• Experience with remote HR advisory services and willingness to visit sites as needed (desirable)
