My client is in need of a candidate to come in and produce a procurement procedure manual for the organisation and relay this policy to international teams. Experience in writing such procedure manuals is essential and a background working with Global charities would be highly beneficial.

I am working with a prestigious Global Charity based in London who have a presence in close to 150 countries offering comprehensive education and support to vulnerable people across the world.

Description

• Lead the development and implementation of procurement policies and strategies.
• Advise procurement and supply chain operations in line with company’s objectives.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure alignment of procurement strategies.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks to ensure operational efficiency.
• Implement best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Maintain procurement records and prepare reports.

Profile

A successful Procurement Policy Manager should have:

• Strong understanding of procurement policies, processes, and best practices.
• Experience working with a large charity would be beneficial.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large amounts of data.
• Knowledge of relevant procurement software and tools.

Job Offer
