Learning & Development Manager – Global Telecoms Giant

One of the worlds great telecommunication companies required a Learning and Development Manager for its Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) product line. This company provide a Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform to businesses across the world, making it easier for them to InterconnecT their clouds, applications and devices. They are at the forefront of an exciting shift towards network automation, and their people are at the heart of our journey.

Currently they are looking for a Learning & Development Manager with passion and experience in B2B tech to lead their global training strategy. This role will require you to be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning and development strategies and programs within the organization.

Key respsonibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic learning and development plan aligned with organizational goals.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning needs.
• Design and deliver innovative and engaging learning programs, courses, and materials.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops, both in-person and virtually.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of learning programs through metrics and evaluation methods.
• Stay informed about emerging learning technologies and trends.
• Create the annual training plan, budget planning, monitor expenses and resources allocation to fulfil training needs.
• Implement and manage learning management systems or other digital platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define learning objectives and evaluate learning outcomes.
• Manage relationships with external training providers, negotiate contracts, and oversee the delivery of outsourced training programs
• Analyze data and make data-driven improvements to learning programs.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and talent development within the organization.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Think strategically and make decisions based on data and organizational goals.

Position requirements

• Minimum 5 years of learning and development experience, preferably come from telecom or technology related industries.
• Understanding of networking technologies, such as Network-as-a-Service, is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic L&D plans to enhance organizational capability.
• Proven experience in identifying skills gaps and creating tailored learning solutions.
• Hands-on knowledge in L&D program design, development, and training delivery
• Excellent communication and engagement skills at all levels, from C-suite executives to employees.
• Proficient in technologies and tools across various channels and platforms.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, digital solutions and learning technologies to enhance the learning experience.
• Ability to work pro-actively and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating a high degree of initiative.
• Proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and MS Office applications.
• Data-driven mindset and strong project management skills.
• International experience or cross-cultural competence.
