Milton Keynes (with occasional travel to London office/other charities/learning events)

£37,000

Permanent, Hybrid (3 days per week in the office, 2 from home), Monday-Friday 9-5 with an early finish on Fridays!

Working in the Charity Sector, come and join the People & Culture Team as the Learning & Development Manager and embark on a mission to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children. As a Learning and Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering development interventions to support the delivery of learning and talent management. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the business to identify capability needs, design and deliver blended learning and development interventions, and track progress to demonstrate added value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute learning strategies and programs that build on the charities unique culture and Christian identity, aligned with the People Strategy.
• Assess the success of development plans and support employees in making the most of learning opportunities, working with managers to develop their team members through career pathing.
• Commission, signpost, advise, create, or deliver learning/training appropriate for the business, including personal, leadership, and team building and development.
• Manage and deliver ongoing improvements to the induction and onboarding program.
• Manage the organisation’s leadership coaching program and create opportunities to upskill and empower leaders to cascade this within their teams.
• Implement various learning methods company-wide, including designing and delivering e-learning courses, workshops, and other training.
• Track budgets and negotiate contracts.

Skills & Experience:

• A CIPD/equivalent qualification in Learning & Development or equivalent experience which shows the development of thinking and communication skills.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering training in a range of contexts and subject areas.
• Proven experience in assessing the training and learning needs of an organisation and developing a program of training from this.
• Experienced with digital, written, and other means of training and learning, and able to manage an intranet learning hub.
• Able to contribute to setting vision and strategy.
