A large FM provider are seeking a Data Centre Shift Manager to join a new contract in Slough

Your new company
My client are a global FM provider with prestigious contracts around the UK. They are hiring an M&E Shift Manager to work within a Data Centre in Slough for a new contract on a continental shift pattern.
Your new role
As Shift Manager you will be responsible for control and supervision of work tasks for planned and reactive maintenance. They will also be liaising with Engineering management and client personnel to ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with site policies and procedures and within health and safety legislative requirements. Other duties will include:

• Duties as High Voltage Authorised Person
• Overseeing M&E Engineers on shift
• Ensure routine maintenance is completed as per SLAs
• Respond to BMS alarms and carry out emergency repairs as needed
• Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the permit to work systems
• Ensure evaporative cooling systems and domestic water systems are maintained as per L8 standard

What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will require relevant experience in leading shift teams within a critical environment, ideally within a Data Centre. You will also require:

• Authorised person HV experience and deep understanding
• Experience in managing shift teams
• L3 NVQ in associated discipline
• H&S & first aid training & experience
• Critical environment experience
• 18th edition wiring regs
