MEP Manager

Deverellsmith are looking for an experienced MEP Manager to join our client to manage multiple residential schemes. Responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination and delivery of all MEP systems withing the developments. Working closely with project teams and subcontractors you will ensure the successful delivery of MEP components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the MEP design and coordination efforts for residential projects, from pre-construction through to project completion.
• Work with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall project plans.
• Review and approve MEP design drawings, specifications, and drawings for accuracy and compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Manage the procurement of MEP materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project budgets.
• Oversee the selection of MEP subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and monitor their performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect MEP installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Implement sustainable and energy-efficient MEP solutions to align with our commitment to environmental responsibility

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field (or qualified by experience)
• Proven experience as an MEP Manager in residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design and coordination software.

The position is for a 12 – 18 month Fixed Term Contract (PAYE).

Offering a market leading package of between £80,000 to £90,000 plus great benefits.
