Neighbourhoods Housing OfficerLocation: Okehampton / Tavistock / CullomptonHours: 37 hours per week, Monday-FridayContract: Fixed term until April 2026Salary: £20.05 per hourAbout the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and experienced Housing Officer to manage a defined neighbourhood patch. Acting as the primary relationship manager for residents, you will deliver high-quality front-line housing services, manage tenancy matters, and help maintain safe, welcoming communities.You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, support new housing developments, and play a key role in resident engagement and neighbourhood sustainability.Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service, responding to tenancy queries and permissions
• Conduct tenancy sign-ups, viewings, and ensure compliance with tenancy agreements
• Manage tenancy breaches, including safeguarding concerns
• Oversee estate standards and service contracts to ensure value for money
• Promote resident engagement and support community development initiatives
• Work collaboratively to maintain positive neighbourhood environments

About YouYou will bring:

• Experience in social housing, including tenancy, estate, and housing management
• CIH Level 4 qualification (or willingness to work towards)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• A strong customer focus with a drive to improve satisfaction
• A full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle
