Job Summary

Are you looking to pivot your career into a dynamic property company? Our client is seeking a talented individual to join the team as an Office Manager & Conveyancer – Property Portfolio Specialist. With a substantial property portfolio, we are seeking a proactive professional to handle all aspects of property sales and refinancing.

This is a full-time permanent position.

General duties to include:

• Oversee the end-to-end process of property sales and refinancing within the extensive portfolio.
• Handling legal documentation, liaising with relevant parties, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements – both building and mortgage lending
• Collaborate with colleagues to analyse financial aspects of property transactions, including pricing, loan structures, and profitability assessments
• Provide insights to support strategic decision-making and optimise financial outcomes
• Handle disputes or legal challenges related to property transactions, working to achieve timely and favourable resolutions
• Develop and maintain comprehensive records of the property portfolio, including ownership documents, lease agreements, and financial records
• Negotiate terms and draft contracts for property transactions
• Compliance with routine accounts and administrative disciplines
• Providing full secretarial support to the Director, including arranging appointments, dealing with client queries in person and by phone, together with preparation of correspondence and documents
• Ensuring smooth running of office and allocating/distributing work as necessary to deal with peaks and troughs

Key Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in conveyancing, preferably within a legal practice or a property company
• Demonstrated expertise in managing property sales, refinancing, and due diligence processes
• Understanding of property law, conveyancing regulations, and compliance requirements
• Ability to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines
• Proactive
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Courteous and professional demeanour
• Strong sense of discretion
