Passenger Transport Officer (Education)

About the role:

The post holder will be responsible for managing all day-to-day home to school transport operational issues with contractors, schools, learners/parents and will liaise with cross-departmental colleagues (Schools Services and Social Services), to ensure that services operate in accordance to the Service Specification and also meet demand.

What you will do:

They will be responsible for the day -to- day contract and operational management of around 250 home to school transport contracts and suppliers

They will assist with the review process of all passenger transport routes, ensuring that all contracted routes are being operated in an efficient and cohesive manner

They will oversee and prepare Home to School transport tender documentation.

They will support the Passenger Transport Manager with the management of the Education Transport budget and other systems.
