People Team Coordinator – ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 (FTC until end of August 2026)

A brilliant opportunity has arisen to join a busy People Team for a fixed term during one of our most exciting and busy periods yet.

This role will work across the entire team, including operations, payroll, talent, and business partnering, providing proactive administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle.

This is a key role in the department and an exciting chance to contribute to and develop within a progressive, collaborative team environment.

The ICC Women’s Twenty20 World Cup is a biennial global tournament for women’s T20 international cricket. The 2026 event will be the 10th edition, hosted by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC). It will be the first time the tournament returns to England & Wales since 2009, which England women won on home soil.

Our ambitions for the tournament are high. In a rapidly evolving women’s sport landscape, we aim to deliver the biggest women’s cricket event in history, redefine attendance standards, reformulate revenue streams, and change perceptions about cricket’s audience. It’s a moment to foster long-term behavioral change in the sport and secure its commercial future domestically and internationally.

YOU’LL BE DOING

• Supporting the HR Director: coordinating meetings, preparing materials, managing projects, and taking notes during meetings.
• Providing administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including drafting contracts, managing payroll additions/removals, arranging inductions, liaising with managers on equipment and onboarding, updating systems and trackers, and processing consultancy appointments including IR35 setups.
• Supporting the Talent team: scheduling interviews, drafting job adverts, managing learning and development administration, and reporting from online platforms.
• Assisting People Business Partners: drafting letters and contracts, updating systems, and note-taking during meetings.
• Coordinating team activities, project planning, and routine operational tasks.
• Undertaking ad hoc projects such as research or benchmarking.

YOU’LL HAVE

• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• A growth mindset and willingness to undertake repetitive tasks.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Proficiency with IT, HR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working in HR, payroll, or administrative roles.
