Are you a Post-Qualified Quantity Surveyor with 1-2 years of experience looking to take the next step in your career within a dynamic and well-established consultancy?

With a strong reputation in the industry, this multi-disciplinary consultancy provides single, multiple, and full multi-disciplinary services across both the public and private sectors, covering a wide range of industry disciplines. Their projects range from large-scale new builds and refurbishments to smaller design, survey, and construction work. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Colchester.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, managing costs and contracts while ensuring the successful financial delivery of schemes. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain high standards of cost control and project efficiency.

The Role:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
• Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments
• Manage contracts, valuations, and final accounts
• Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure cost-effective solutions
• Assist with procurement and cost negotiations
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices

The Person:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• 1-2 years of post-qualification experience within a consultancy or contractor environment
• Full driving license and access to own vehicle
