Professional Qualifications – Senior Manager (FTC)

Frazer Jones are supporting a market leading professional services firm looking for a Professional Qualifications Senior Manager on a 12 month FTC.

You will work as part of the Professional Qualifications Team who have a distinct role dealing with the administration and management of all professional qualifications.

You should be familiar with the ICAEW’s ACA qualification and the exams of the tax professional bodies in order to set you up for success in this position.

Key duties include:

1. Maintain the firm’s duty of care to our people whilst enforcing the firm’s professional qualifications policies.
2. Assist in the development and delivery of internal training and induction for EIC students.
3. Work with HR and the business to develop our programme of on-going care, coaching and advice to our early in career (EIC) students.
4. Ensure that bonus and promotions data is provided to HR in a timely manner.
5. Proactively liaise with HR and Finance on apprentices.
6. Liaise with the external bodies including the ICAEW and CIOT.
7. Work with the Shared Service Centre (SSC) to ensure a seamless service is delivered to trainees and the business.
8. Assist in the design and development of apprenticeship programmes that are relevant, engaging and delivering for our EIC students.
9. Develop procedures and processes to drive efficiencies in the work of the team.
10. Develop systems and processes to increase operational efficiency including the use of Workday.
11. Advise on exam results and recommendations in respect of those who have failed. Work closely with colleagues in the HR team to provide support to the Partners and the students.
12. Liaise with external training providers on courses and syllabus developments.
13. Help to assess the impact of all syllabus changes on the firm’s professional qualifications strategy and support the communication of the impact to our partners and staff.
14. Manage and develop the professional qualifications team including the performance management of two direct reports.
15. Help ensure that the firm’s professional qualifications policies are driven by business needs and sound commercial principles and working with the business to support as appropriate.
16. Act as Deputy QPRT including signing training contracts and new counsellor forms.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this role you must have knowledge of professional qualifications such as ACA, CTA, ACCA and CIMA.

In addition, direct relevant work experience is preferred including professional examinations training or experience in a large professional services firm.
