Job Title: Interim Programme Manager

Rate: 450 per day (Inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Interim Programme Manager to lead a dynamic team in the procurement and management of key contracts, as well as oversee a diverse portfolio of investment, maintenance, and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Leadership:

• • Lead the procurement efforts for two significant 5-year contracts: Fire risk assessments and Asbestos Audit.

Financial Management:

• • Collaborate with the council’s finance team to produce accurate monthly budget forecasts.

Programme Leadership:

• • Lead the delivery of a 12 million program, overseeing investment, maintenance, and construction projects.

Team Management:

• • Manage a team of 4 Contract Managers and 4 Contract Support Officers.

Project Governance:

• • Implement robust project governance structures to ensure transparency and accountability

Compliance Management:

• • Lead the delivery of compliance contracts to ensure the council’s adherence to regulations.
  • Ensure compliance in areas such as gas, electrical installations, asbestos, fire safety, water safety, and passenger lifts.
