Abatec is assisting their client, a highly regarded Groundworks contractor with the recruitment of a Freelance Project Manager (PM).

The PM will be responsible for the groundworks package on a project valued between £5-£10 million. The successful candidate will have a background in civil engineering and experience working on groundworks, roads, and drainage.

As a Project Manager you will:

• Report to a visiting Contracts Manager, giving updates on programme, budgetary and design issues, etc.
• Ensure that industry health & safety legislation and standards are upheld.
• Liaise regularly with the client on any concerns at regular project meetings.
• Prepare, check, and implement designs on-site in accordance with the relevant drawings and specifications.

Our client requires a Project Manager with:

• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid.
• A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience on groundworks projects.

Salary and benefits include:

• £350 – £400 per day LTD
