Overview:

Looking for a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor who will be supporting the commercial and contractual manager on telecoms projects which includes new builds, city enhancement projects and field service frameworks.

Responsibilities:

* Skillfully manage project finances by overseeing contracts, controlling planned expenses, and ensuring financial accuracy.

* Aid in project variation approval and submission for seamless transitions.

* Collaboratively mitigate financial and contractual claims using NEC principles for effective Risk Management.

* Deliver timely cost and value data for projects and regions, aligned with schedules.

* Guide internal stakeholders on budgets, cost savings, and expenditure control.

Qualifications:

* Degree level education in commercial, contract, project management or equivalent; or substantial professional experience within similar role.

Skills:

* 4+ years of Quantity Surveying experience.

* Proven track record in overseeing significant capital expenditure projects. (Managing budgets of around £40M to £80M+ across potentially multiple workstreams)

* Strong proficiency in Excel and data management tools.

* Skillful use of data for generating financial reports with actionable insights and strategic operational emphasis.

* Thorough understanding of NEC3 ECC Contract forms (or similar standard forms) and expertise in dispute resolution.
