Quantity Surveyor

Location: London (W1)
Salary: £45,000 £60,000 per annum (DOE) + Performance Bonus

My client is a boutique construction and project delivery company specialising in high-end commercial fit-outs and bespoke interiors. They are passionate about design-led execution and delivering spaces that showcase innovation and quality.

They are growing and looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our pre-construction team. If you re experienced in producing competitive, commercially viable tenders and quotations, this could be your next great opportunity!

What You ll Do:

• Prepare detailed cost plans and quotations for tenders, negotiated projects, and direct awards

• Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors

• Conduct site visits and review project scopes

• Value engineer proposals to meet client budgets and expectations

• Support bid submissions and tender clarifications

• Maintain and update cost libraries and benchmarks

• Work closely with Contracts Managers to align pricing with project delivery

• Assist with project handovers to operational teams

What We re Looking For:

• 3+ years experience in commercial build or fit-out quantity surveying/estimating

• Strong understanding of construction costs, market rates, and procurement

• Excellent numerical skills and proficiency in Excel (Bluebeam, ConQuest or similar is a plus)

• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, design-led environment

• HNC/HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field
