Recruitment Advisor

3 Month Contract

Based in Wembley, London – 2 days a week onsite, 3 days remote

£23.80 PH (36 hours PW) – Inside IR35 – Via Umbrella

Preferably with experience in recruiting for children services.

Job Purpose:

• Provide a high quality, resourcing recruitment service by undertaking initial recruitment briefings with hiring managers in conjunction with utilising and proactively sourcing candidates for specific roles.

• Building relationships with internal customers and a range of partners to deliver an efficient and effective service.

• Support the management and delivery of effective recruitment and selection services including advertising jobs, utilising our advertising platform to ensure that recruitment campaigns are delivered to the highest standards, co-ordinating and participating in selection procedures.

• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of service standards relating to recruitment and selection and produce monitoring reports.

• Support the Resources & Business Co-ordinator to regularly review recruitment and selection procedures and practices to ensure their continued effectiveness.

Qualifications and Professional Membership requirements:

• Evidence of continuous professional development relevant to recruitment and selection.

• Possession of or willing to obtain relevant practising certificate(s) in psychometric, aptitude and ability testing systems, or willing to be trained.

Knowledge:

• Experienced in in-house recruitment within a complex organisation

• Good understanding and proven experience of strategic and operational resourcing.

• Sound knowledge of recruitment processes and employment legislation and how this impacts on recruitment and selection.

• Ability to undertake multi recruitment assignments within deadlines.

• Ability to research, prepare and present information clearly and concisely in writing and verbally.

• Ability to engender trust and confidence and demonstrate probity and integrity in the provision of advice and support.

• Ability to communicate effectively in person with a wide range of internal and external contacts including managers applicants, potential employees, service managers and advertising agencies and media.

• Ability to draft recruitment advertisements and job packs, letters and contracts of employment.
