Your new role

Co-ordinating employee recruitment and onboarding processes by:

• Preparing all documents for advertising a vacancy and ensuring it is advertised on the companies website and external websites
• Processing applications as received and liaising with recruiting managers throughout the process
• Contacting successful and unsuccessful candidates with relevant communication
• Sending offer letters, contracts and doing pre-employment checks
• Ordering new joiners IT equipment as well as passes and digital ID
• Set new team members on our people systems
• Meeting with new people on their 1st day of employment to provide them with an induction to the people systems and health & safety
• Ensuring that all new starters have an induction ‘buddy’
• Liaise with our provider of home-working equipment to order necessary items for the new starters
• Being involved in interviewing where applicable
• Ensuring that the hiring managers follow the processes, and all data is handled in line with GDPR

Supporting other people processes by:

• Maintaining people personnel files on SharePoint and Breathe HR in accordance with GDPR requirements
• Process employees’ DBS applications
• Update Breathe HR with any changes
• Respond to enquiries coming through and over the phone
• Support implementation and execution of projects across employee life cycle
• Provide other administrative support related to People, e.g. references, issuing HR letters
• Generate reports on people measures, recruitment, diversity, training, engagement.
• Attend Board meetings to write up the minutes
• Any other reasonable activities relative to the scope and size of the role.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Very good organisation skills
• Demonstrable experience of co-ordinating recruitment and onboarding processes
• Experience of working with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to make administrative processes inspiring and people-focused
• Clear and values-aligned communication via email and phone
• Ability to communicate to colleagues from different backgrounds
• Good problem-solving skills
