REGIONAL STOCK MANAGER – GLASGOW & PERTH

Our team in Perth currently has an opening for a Regional Stock Manager – Glasgow & Perth

About the role

To manage the stock teams at both Glasgow and Perth to ensure income is maximised by the effective and efficient purchasing, procurement, and control of stock.

As the Regional Stock Manager, it will be your responsibility to:

Lead, appraise & manage the stock control teams at each depot
Implement strong processes to gain stock synergies between both depots
Ensuring working capital is kept within targeted limits, manage and achieve stock related KPI’s
Coordinate stock purchases via existing contracts – including imports from overseas
Input and process purchase orders onto the in-house system
Utilise system reports to ensure stock is received on time and in full
Communicate with depots to ensure sales orders and purchase orders are confirmed
Liaise with other departments to rectify any customer complaints related to stock
Act as key stock contact for major customers and suppliers
Liaise with other depots for supplying and procuring stock, also with members of the sales team to maximise sales opportunities
Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by the appropriate line managers from time to time, related to the effective and efficient performance of the job, and providing they are within the post holders skills and ability

Your skills & experience:

Qualified or working to wards CIP qualification

You must be able too:

Effectively establish strong processes in each depot to ensure the day-to-day operation of the stock control functions operate effectively.

Able to prioritise and monitor own workload.

Work within a fast paced, busy environment

Actively Problem solve

Communicate well with all interfaces and relationships
