Interim Repairs Manager

Rate: £375 – £450 per day Umbrella

Duration: Initially 6 Months

Our Client, a Local Authority based in North West London, is seeking an Interim Repairs Manager to join their team initially on a 6 month basis.

Responsibilities of the Repairs Manager include:

• Managing multiple contracts ensuring a timely and efficient repairs and maintenance service is provided to residents across all housing stock.

• Monitoring the repairs budget ensuring value for money is achieved without compromising customer satisfaction.

• Ensure all repairs and maintenance work is complete to a high standard and compliant with current regulations.

• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues as required and appropriate.

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and service excellence

The successful Interim Repairs Manager Candidate will have:

• Experience managing a repairs and maintenance service within a social housing setting.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple small contractors.

• Excellent knowledge of repair and maintenance processes, regulations, and best practices.

• Strong budget management and problem-solving skills.

• Relevant qualifications in construction, building maintenance, or a related field (desirable).
