Day to Day Repairs Manager job, Domestic Maintenance across West and North Yorkshire, To start immediately

A well known and reputable housing company with housing stock across both West and North Yorkshire is looking for an experienced Repairs Manager to provide additional support to the current team.
Your new role
Working alongside several surveyors and a small maintenance team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day repairs of domestic properties.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

To effectively manage the in-house team and external contracts to ensure the day-to-day repairs and void property functions deliver exceptional and effective customer service to defined customers and the Association’s satisfaction measures, performance metrics and outcomes (service standards, timescales, and budgets). Carry out Reality Checks, Tenant Satisfaction Surveys and pre and post-inspections to audit services and processes to ensure value for money. Hold regular effective contractor meetings to ensure contractors are kept updated on the quality requirements of the Association, producing and collating reports where required. A strong record of demonstrable achievement, at management level, in an organisation in the delivery of responsive repairs.Experience of working in partnership with stakeholders to deliver excellenceBe comfortable with up-to-date legislation and best practice in relation to all aspects of responsive repairs and planned maintenance service delivery.
