The Sales Manager role comes with a salary of up to 70,000.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Managing Director you will:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand our market presence.
• Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure proposals align with technical and industry standards.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and support.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and innovations in solar technology.
• Prepare comprehensive technical proposals and cost estimates tailored to client needs.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote services and network with potential clients.
• Lead the tender process, coordinating with internal teams to prepare and submit accurate and competitive bids.
• Negotiate contracts with clients and supply chain partners, focusing on sales terms, pricing, delivery timelines, and risk management.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, with a proven track record in Solar services sales.
• Extensive experience in utility-scale solar energy sales.
• Strong ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into compelling proposals.
