Role Overview

As Senior Contracts Manager, your day-to-day duties will include:

• Organising and managing temporary site services and electrical and mechanical projects within a construction environment, including all day-to-day operational aspects of the project.
• Ensuring works are completed in line with the health and safety policy.
• Procuring labour, materials, and plant to complete site-based activities.
• Valuing engineering of existing projects to maximise margins and preparing and submitting costs for additional work with the client’s specifications and the technical expertise of the company.
• Preparing risk assessments and method statements.
• Conducting regular site visits/inspections and internal reviews of projects with the Commercial team.
• Building on existing relationships with the client base to help secure additional work.

Essential Skills

Essential Skills:

• Qualified Electrician with at least four years in a similar position.
• A good understanding of the electrical test and inspection procedures.
• Takes ownership of projects and deals with any operational problems professionally and efficiently.
• Good numerical skills.
• Experience delivering large projects on time and within budget.
• Experience managing a delivery team and able to mentor and develop the existing team of staff and operatives.
• Lives within commuting distance of Glasgow.
