Our client is a specialist roofing contractor that operates nationwide. They provide surveying services and general roofing refurbs and repairs.

Due to increasing workloads, they’re looking to bring a service administrator into the fold. This is a fast-paced role, so would suit a focused individual with a strong work ethic.

Essential Experience: Administration within the construction industry

Position Overview – Service Administrator

• Accurately input and update data related to roofing projects, including customer information, project details, and financial records.
• Maintain an organised and up-to-date database to facilitate easy access to information.
• Establish and maintain an efficient document control system for all roofing projects.
• Ensure that all project documentation, including contracts, permits, and specifications, are properly filed and readily accessible.
• Collaborate with project managers to allocate works to roofing teams.
• Keep detailed records of work assignments, ensuring proper documentation and communication with relevant teams.
• Receive and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for roofing materials and services.
• Coordinate with procurement and project management teams to ensure timely processing of quotes and accurate cost assessments.
• Effectively manage and organise the diaries and schedules of key personnel within the company.
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, and project deadlines.
• Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant team members promptly.

Position Requirements – Service Administrator

• Proven experience as an administrator or in a similar role, preferably in the construction or roofing industry.
• Proficient in data entry and record-keeping.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

• £22,000 – £30,000
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays
