Location: North West (school sites)

Type: Permanent contract

Salary: £45,000 per annum + Car or 5k car allowance

Start Date: September 2025 (TBC)

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Site Manager to oversee education-based refurbishment and construction works across a portfolio of schools in the North West, with contracts totalling £7 million.

This is a permanent position offering long-term security, a strong pipeline of work, and the chance to join a well-established contractor with a great reputation for quality and delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing day-to-day site operations across multiple school projects
• Leading subcontractors to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality delivery
• Rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in – this is an 80/20 split between management and hands-on work
• Conducting toolbox talks, site inductions, and RAMS reviews

What You’ll Need:

• SMSTS
• First Aid at Work
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
• Strong joinery/carpentry background
• Comfortable being tool-ready when needed
• Proven track record delivering education or similar public sector refurbishment works
