Our client based in County Durham is looking for an experienced Site Manager to work on a long term contract in Northumberland.

Job description:

• Liaising with on site clients and reporting on progress to the Contracts Manager daily including end of day checks submitting relevant images and completing various documentation.
• Supervising all on site staff (Kitchen, Bathroom and Heating Works)
• Keeping track and arranging/unloading/storing and contractor collection of materials from the site stores.
• Monitoring progression and extra works and keeping a log.
• Conducting quality and safety inspections.
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings including kitchen plans and asbestos reports ect.
• Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
• Overseeing the refurbishment of kitchens, bathrooms and heating upgrades.
• Ensuring work is carried out within budget and to the highest standards.
• Ensuring the site is ran productively
• Representing the company in a professional manner at all times.

Person specification:

• Must have a valid SMSTS and CSCS card.
• First Aid certified.
• Must have or be willing to get a DBS check.
• Must have knowledge of heating systems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive work environment.
• Must have a valid UK driving license.
• Experience of managing a team of various trades.
