TD Recruitment are currently looking for experienced site manager to work for our client in Keighley, Bedford area.

Starting as soon as possible.

Job duties:

– Manages all Site activities ensuring sites are fully compliant and operating to all applicable HSE guidelines

– Reporting to the Contracts Manager as required

– Ensuring that requirements, as specified by the client and senior management, are met

– Collaborating with other construction project stakeholders as required

– Procuring materials, labour, and equipment, as well as third-party subcontractors and suppliers

– Ensure that all Goods Received Notes are secured and handed in to the appropriate location

– Monitoring labour, building material, and equipment budgets and curbing unnecessary expenses/costs

– Preparing work schedules and sequencing onsite tasks

– Maintain Daily Records of site activities and liaise with the Contracts Managers to produce information for Progress Reports

Experience:

– 5-10 years of experience managing construction projects for a Contractor

– Proven Ability to monitor construction project budgets and deadlines

– Proficiency in recordkeeping and electronic project management systems

– Experience in relaying detailed instructions to onsite construction teams

– Advanced Negotiation skills to procure cost-effective subcontractors and suppliers

– Ability to closely collaborate with other construction project stakeholders

– Experience of numerous sites of varying complexities.

Qualifications/Certificates:

– CSCS black card

– SMSTS

– First aid at work

– Fire marshal

– Asbestos awareness

Start:

Monday to Friday, 7:30AM – 17:00PM, start as soon as possible.
